AHD 1080P Nitrogen-Filled Anti-Fog Vehicle Camera

AHD 1080P Nitrogen-Filled Anti-Fog Vehicle Camera

Hermetically sealed with positive-pressure dry nitrogen (N₂) to prevent internal lens condensation across extreme temperature drops. Engineered for cold storage shuttle vehicles, IP69K high-pressure washdowns, and heavy industrial fleets—requiring no internal heating element.

Condensation-Free Optics • No Heater Required • Dew Point ≤ -40°C • IP69K

Product Description

The AHD 1080P Nitrogen-Filled Anti-Fog Vehicle Camera is engineered specifically for severe industrial environments where sudden temperature transitions and high-pressure cleaning cause chronic internal lens condensation. Manufactured with a vacuum nitrogen-purged hermetic enclosure, the internal atmospheric dew point is driven below -40°C to permanently eliminate internal fogging at zero operational electrical load.

Key Features

  • Factory N₂-Purged (≤ -40°C Dew Point): The housing is pulled under deep vacuum and backfilled with dry nitrogen under positive pressure (0.02–0.05 MPa). No moisture inside, no lens condensation when driving between +25°C loading docks and -25°C freezers.

  • 0W Passive Anti-Fogging: Traditional heated cameras pull 3W–8W continuously and drain forklift batteries. This sealed physical barrier requires zero operational power.

  • Washdown-Proof IP69K Enclosure: Internal positive pressure stops the "vacuum-draw" effect caused by sudden 80°C / 100 bar washdowns. Verified IP69K ingress protection.

  • Heavy-Duty 3-Point Mounting: 2.0 mm thick 304 stainless-steel U-bracket with M5 hex locking bolts. Locks camera angle firmly under continuous chassis vibration and rough terrain.

  • 1080P Low-Light Vision + 4x Matrix IR: 1/2.9" CMOS sensor paired with 4 high-output matrix IR LEDs. Provides clean, noise-free night vision up to 15 meters in pitch-black cold storage.

Target Applications

Cold Storage Logistics & Electric Forklifts

Reach trucks frequently cross loading docks into sub-zero freezers. With an internal dew point below -40°C, the lens will not fog from the inside. Zero heater power draw leaves battery runtime unaffected.

Municipal & High-Pressure Washdown Trucks

Waste collection and concrete mixer trucks face daily 80°C hot-water jet washing. Internal micro-positive pressure stops the cooling housing from sucking water past the gaskets.

Port Equipment & Coastal Fleets

Harbor cranes and container handlers run in high-humidity, high-salt environments. The oxygen-free nitrogen atmosphere prevents oxidation on internal solder joints, CMOS pins, and optical coatings.

Technical FAQ

Q1: How does it stop fogging without a heating element?

A: Inside fog needs two things: trapped air moisture and a sudden temperature drop. We pull a deep vacuum during assembly and backfill the housing with dry nitrogen, pushing the internal dew point below -40°C. With virtually zero moisture inside, condensation cannot physically form on the glass.

Q2: How long does the nitrogen seal last? Do I need to refill it?

A: It is designed to be completely maintenance-free throughout the equipment's operational lifespan—no refilling required. We use automotive-grade fluorosilicone (FVMQ) gaskets rated for continuous -40°C elasticity, and every unit undergoes helium leak testing (< 1.0 × 10⁻⁶ mbar·L/s) to ensure long-term hermetic integrity under heavy vibration, thermal cycles, and rigorous commercial use.

Q3: Can this camera be serviced or opened in the field?

A: You can service the bracket, sun visor, and external cables on-site. However, do not open the main camera housing. Breaking the seal vents the nitrogen charge and lets in ambient air, requiring factory vacuum refilling.
